Research shows choices our kids make are directly tied to health outcomes into adulthood. Good health is dependent on multiple factors including nutrition, physical activity, hygiene, sleep, positive relationships with peers and adults, and more. PAL takes a holistic approach when we talk about health and wellness. We address nutrition through our cooking program where we introduce healthful foods and ways to prepare a healthy meal to our children and their families. We also provide sessions on the importance of hygiene, physical activity and sleep. PAL also provides conflict resolution for our children as conflict is a part of life yet how we manage that conflict is vital to our safety and success in maintaining positive relationships.
